Last night I brought the bottle of cold water from the kitchen to the living room where I was sitting, reading. I looked at the coffee table and seeing no bottlecap, wondered, where is the cap for the bottle? Mystery number one. I figured I just left it in the kitchen. Then I proceeded to pick up the bottle and tip it into my glass. I saw the water flow from the bottom to the top of the inverted bottle. Then I wondered why nothing was flowing out of the bottle into the glass. Mystery number two. Needless to say, I eventually solved both mysteries.

Oven Mess

Oven mess: Ever have a problem with pies bubbling over while baking? Next time this happens, put enough salt on the mess to cover the spill. This will stop the burnt smell and will turn light and crusty from the oven's heat so you can just wipe it off the oven floor when cool.

Another Dream for You to Interpret

So, there I was swimming in a swimming pool. When all of a sudden, one of the advisers came to me and said, "The president is dead, you are president now." I thought maybe I should jump out and rush to some coronation or swearing ceremony. But, nobody else seemed to be in much of a hurry. So, I kept on swimming. As I swam, I was thinking, "OK, I wasn't elected, I didn't campaign, so its OK for me to be President. But, how did I become Vice President in the first place?"

Along with your interpretation, can one of you grammatically smart people tell me if "president" or "Vice President" needs to be capitalized? That is grammatically capitalized. I am sure they are politically capitalized. Or is that capitolized?
